Thirty-three strong and powerful women were chosen to be included in the Hospital Division's list of Most Leading and Influential Women for 2025. These women were selected for their work and contributions in various fields - in family, work, science, culture, politics and different communities. Two of them, Prof. Merav Ben Natan, Director of the School of Nursing, and Mira Leibel, Head Nurse in the Emergency Medicine Department, are from Hillel Yaffe Medical Center.
Prof. Merav Ben Natan has served as Director of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center’s Nursing School since 2011. She is a registered nurse, a graduate of the Inbar program and the Civil Service Commission's management training. She was the first to reach the rank of Clinical Associate Professor in the School of Health Professions. A leading researcher in the fields of domestic violence, nursing education and the status of nurses in Israel, she has made it her mission to improve the status of nurses in Israel and works tirelessly to do so. Additionally, Prof. Ben Natan is highly active in volunteering and training for the prevention of elder abuse. In her role as director, she has developed successful academic retraining programs and leads the school to excellence.

Mira Leibel, Head Nurse of the Emergency Medicine Department at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, demonstrates sensitivity and determination in her work during normal times and emergency situations. With her excellent interpersonal communication skills, empathy and assertiveness, she leads the nursing staff during these very challenging times, while fostering the resilience and integrity of all teams. Mira is a key figure in the management of the Emergency Medicine Department. She works efficiently and professionally, always demonstrating tireless dedication. Additionally, she volunteers and prepares food for lone soldiers and conducts CPR training in the community. Mira is a role model for a talented, leading, dedicated head nurse with knowledge and compassion.

She possesses exceptional organizational, management and professional abilities. She has led the school to impressive achievements and has transformed it into one of the most sought-after nursing schools in the country. Mira Leibel has been a dedicated registered nurse for many years. She demonstrates professionalism, caring, strong management skills and brilliantly leads the nursing staff in the DEM, while collaborating with the medical team.
