Members of the Balloon Artists Association joined forces to create an exhibit which presents an original and different twist on the upcoming holiday of Shavuot. The exhibit, located in the lobby of Inpatient Building B at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, is made from approximately 10,000 biodegradable balloons and was assembled in just 24 hours of dedicated volunteer work for the benefit of our patients, visitors and hospital staff.
The display was created in honor of Shavuot and, in keeping with the spirit of the holiday, features a fruit basket, cow and a jug of milk — made entirely from balloons, forming a true work of art that delights the eyes and uplifts the spirit. The entire exhibit was done as a donation by members of the association. The balloons were provided by Balloons USA, and the technical equipment was donated by Amir Cranes and Steel Valley.
Since its installation, the exhibit has captured the attention of every single visitor. They all stop to look, take pictures and get all excited by it. Without a doubt, it is a colorful and different Shavuot celebration.
