Dr. Guy Rozen graduated from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev medical school, and then completed his residency in internal medicine and cardiology at the Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer.
After completing his residency, Dr. Rozen worked as a Senior Physician in Sheba Medical Center’s Cardiac Division, where he was responsible for establishing a unique service for fast diagnosis for patients with fainting episodes (syncope).
He later completed a three and a half year long research and clinical fellowship in the field of cardiac arrhythmia at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, one of the world’s leading medical centers, and part of Harvard University.
While working in the United States, Dr. Rozen was involved in development of innovative technologies and techniques in monitoring and treating arrhythmia, particularly cardiac catheterizations and methods of working using ablation, which significantly improve the safety and effectiveness of these actions.
On his return to Israel, Dr. Rozen joined the cardiovascular service at the Baruch Padeh Medical Center, Poriyah, where he established and directed a dedicated service for patients suffering from atrial fibrillation, the most common form of arrhythmia in adults, including development of ablation for treating paroxysmal or persistent atrial fibrillation.
In January 2021 he joined the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center as the hospital’s Director of the Electrophysiology and Pacemaker Unit.
