The project is the brainchild of entrepreneur and businessman Yoram Raviv, who is also a member of Friends of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center. This is the first of much more to come in this project, which the association is running in the Department of Pediatrics.
The first to enjoy an impressive cake, which was even decorated with an image of her face, was eight-year-old Jana Chayat, who received the cake on her birthday - directly from Yoram Raviv himself and in the presence of the doctor caring for her in Hillel Yaffe's Department of Pediatrics, Dr. Renata Yacobov.
Yoram Raviv said, “Friends of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center has committed to providing a cake to all children celebrating their birthdays in the hospital.” Jana's father, Moussa Chayat, said that the smile stayed on her face a long time. “A wonderful initiative. I thank the hospital and the association.”
