The new shopping center, which was opened last month, is located at the entrance to the inpatient buildings, an attractive and convenient location for visitors, patients and staff members alike. It offers a café, drugstore and various stores for the convenience of visitors and inpatients.
As traditional, at the opening ceremony, a mezuzah was hung on the doorposts of the new building and a ribbon was cut in the presence of the medical center's management along with all of the planners, consultants, operational staff, design staff and administrative staff who were involved with the project - which has a single purpose - to make things easier and better for hospital visitors and to provide them with additional services they require.
The Director of the Medical Center, Dr. Mickey Dudkiewicz, and Administrative Director, Dr. Amnon Ben Moshe, both gave greetings to mark the occasion and noted that this marks yet another aspect of the extensive and complex work the hospital is doing on behalf of patients and staff. They thanked everyone who was involved, noting their hope that it will be a place for shopping, coffee, a nice meal and even to relax - for anyone in need.
