This week the staff of the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center Alternative Medicine Clinic, headed by Prof. Rafi Carasso and Kobi Rosengarten, hosted 25 reflexologists from France at the hospital, who had come to learn about and see the existing cooperative venture between alternative and conventional medicine. The reflexologists visited three areas: the Alternative Medicine Clinic, the Gastroenterology Institute, and the Delivery Rooms. In the latter two, there is significant cooperation with the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center Alternative Medicine Clinic, whose staff have, in recent years, become a well-integrated part of the existing medical services.

Mr. Kobi Rosengarten, Head of the Alternative Medicine Clinic at Hillel Yaffe, noted: “Alternative medicine has proven itself as an effective method of treatment for a wide range of medical problems, and undoubtedly these treatments, alongside the conventional treatments at the hospital, provide a broad and comprehensive service which leads to good results for our patients.”
The reflexologists from France noted that they had been extremely impressed with the cooperation in existence between the Alternative Medicine Clinic and the various hospital departments, and the advantages of integrating reflexology and acupuncture in a way that is advantageous to the patients.
