The unique, pampering gift was the initiative of the members of the Friends of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, who saw the need to again show love and appreciation to the medical and nursing staff at Hillel Yaffe.
“During the first coronavirus wave, the medical and nursing teams in all the hospitals, including Hillel Yaffe, felt enveloped in love from the general public. During the current wave, this trend was greatly reduced, despite the fact that the work of the medical teams has become more complex and challenging, with greater burnout,” noted Moshe Morag, Chairman of Friends of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center. “One of our Executive Committee members, businesswoman Ms. Tali Feiglin, suggested that we pamper the staff with restaurant meals, and create a win-win situation – for the hospital staff who are continuously devoting themselves to others, and for the restaurant owners and staff who are also undergoing a difficult time economically.” One of the members of the organization, responded by immediately volunteering to happily fund the entire project himself. The donor wishes to remain anonymous.
