The Minister of Health was accompanied by members of the hospital administration, who each gave a specific review of various aspects of how the “vaccination project” is being administered, from registration to being invited to the second appointment. Minister Edelstein also spoke to the nurses responsible for vaccinating and with some of the “brand new” vaccinees.
It was decided during the visit that the vaccination project would be significantly expanded and that the hospital staff would begin to vaccinate the entire population of the region in accordance with the Ministry of Health directives – that is for all those from age 60 – after making an appointment through a designated appointment call center.
The Minister also visited the Center for Victims of Sexual Assault which was dedicated at the hospital at the beginning of this December, and he was impressed with its swift and effective establishment, as well as the warmth and devotion of the staff.

The vaccinations are being carried out in Inpatient Building B, on Floor 5 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
