Inflammatory Eye Diseases (Uveitis)

Uveitis is the generic name for an inflammatory disease that affects any part of uvea. The uvea is the internal part of the eye, located between the sclera and the retina, and made up of the iris, ciliary body (a muscle behind the iris) and choroid.

Among the services provided for uveitis, the clinic diagnoses the disease through auxiliary tests tailored to each and every case, including extensive blood tests, general imaging and specifically imaging of the eyes, laboratory and other tests.

After diagnosing the disease and its cause, the clinic will determine the optimal treatment for the patient's problem, working closely with other departments such as Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Neurology, Infectious Diseases and Pediatrics.
