The celebratory week began with an exciting and fun evening at Elysee Gardens in Binyamina, which included a lavish meal, a hilarious stand-up performance, a wonderful movie featuring the hospital’s nurses, greetings, and dancing. Those who greeted the guests included Director of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center Dr. Mickey Dudkiewicz; Director of the National Nursing Committee, Ms. Ilana Cohen; Director of Nursing at Hillel Yaffe, Ms. Dina Fainblat, and Chairperson of the Nurses Committee, Mrs. Pnina Biton. They warmly thanked all the nurses for their hard work, dedication, and the way they have coped with the challenges they face during the coronavirus outbreak period, and in general.
Each day during the course of the week, the nursing staff enjoyed a range of surprises and tasty treats – pizza and cold drinks, ice cream, fruit platters, and more. At the end of the week, each nurse received a gift as a token of appreciation and thanks. To all those who participated – the Medical Center management, the Nursing management, the Nurses Committee, and private donors from the community, who opened their hearts and pockets to express their great thanks and appreciation to the nurses: It was certainly joyous!
