The forecasts show that the flu, which has already hit hard wherever the winter is going strong, will be more significant this year, and therefore it is essential that adults, children and other at-risk groups are vaccinated.

Mickey Dudkiewicz, Director General of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, said, “Every year we get our flu shots, because we recognize that this is how we can protect our patients, and we are doing the same this year as well. This will enable all of us to stay healthy ourselves as health care practitioners and to protect the health of the patients who rely on us. Preventing COVID-19 and flu morbidity will reduce the load on the health care system and enable dedicated and professional care for other routine issues.”
