Dr. Ramez Barbara is an ophthalmologist and surgeon in the Ophthalmology Department at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center and at Laniado Hospital.
A specialist in both adult and pediatric cornea as well as in the anterior segment. He is also a specialist in laser refractive surgery (to eliminate the need for glasses), which he performs at Assuta Hospital.
Dr. Barbara studied medicine in the UK and is a recognized ophthalmology specialist in both the UK and Israel.
He completed his fellowship in cornea at several prestigious British hospitals, and a fellowship in pediatric cornea at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Canada. During his work in the UK and Canada, Dr. Barbara worked directly with the world’s most acclaimed physicians in the field of cornea and pediatric cornea.
