Hillel Yaffe Medical Center celebrated Sigd - the festive holiday of the Ethiopian Jewish community, which is celebrated approximately 50 days after Yom Kippur. The hospital staff was invited to hear the moving stories of aliyah (immigration to Israel) of the medical center's Ethiopian employees and volunteers. They also had the opportunity to become familiar with some of the community’s customs and some of delicacies of its cuisine, which were prepared by the kitchen staff.
