Prof. Merav Ben Natan has been the director of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center’s School of Nursing for the past 12 years and has worked at the medical center for the past 25 years. She lectures at the Department of Nursing at Tel Aviv University, is a graduate of several prestigious programs and is part of the managerial reserve of the Civil Service Commission.
“Merav Ben Natan, who led Hillel Yaffe’s School of Nursing to outstanding achievements at the national level is clearly highly deserving of this esteemed title,” said Medical Center Director Dr. Mickey Dudkiewicz.
“Very few nurses have been conferred with the title of professor, and we are proud that Dr. Ben Natan is among them. Prof. Ben Natan is a member of our Helsinki Committee (IRB), is involved in teaching and research, and has numerous articles in prestigious professional journals to her credit. She is a graduate of the Inbar program, a member of national committees, presents at conferences in Israel and worldwide and is constantly working to promote the status of nursing in Israel and the cause of domestic violence. Moreover, in recent years, the School of Nursing has become one of the leaders in Israel, if not the leader.”
