Approximately 30 different inspiring projects were presented in the year-end wrapup by the teams of nurses at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center. The conference was organized by the hospital's nursing administration and was primarily dedicated to wrapping up some of the far-reaching professional work in this field in 2023. Over 200 participants attended the conference, both from the hospital itself and from outside the hospital.
“In the face of numerous and exceptionally complex challenges, a great deal of work and heavy loads, our teams are still able to innovate in every possible way,” said Hillel Yaffe Medical Center's Director of Nursing, Ms. Dina Fainblat, who opened the conference. “The projects presented were all done on top of the regular ongoing work and showed impressive clinical abilities when addressing patient needs. Every issue presented was special and embodies the essence of the nursing profession and the complexity it entails.”
The projects presented included innovations that enable better medication management, more effective and convenient patient education, treatment of war wounded, new techniques being used in the various departments, projects to empower staff and improve the experience of patients and their families, integration of new measures and more.
“There was a sense of learning, personal development and mutual enrichment throughout the day. I'd like to extend my thanks to everyone who took part and was involved,” said Dina Fainblat, summarizing the day.
