The health program of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center and the Technoda - the Israeli Medical and Science Museum has launched. Each month various activities for parents and children related to different fields of medicine are offered. Each activity includes a lecture by a specialist from Hillel Yaffe, followed by an enjoyable hands-on workshop on the same topic.
The first activity will be held on Tuesday, July 16, at 5:00 p.m., at Technoda Hadera and will examine advanced robotic surgery. Dr. Nimrod Aviran, Emergency Surgery Service Director at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center will show the children whether robots operate on humans and how they do it, and then they will participate in a hands-on suturing workshop - just like in real life! For age 6 and up.
In the future, there will be additional activities about the heart, allergies, orthopedics, pregnancy, childbirth and more.
