Interns' clinical research program

Program Coordinator: Dr. Ofer Kobo.

The clinical research program is a project that offers both interns at Hillel Yaffe and at other hospitals – the opportunity to join and conduct research, even during their internship, as part of our belief that research and academic and scientific writing is important to the quality of work as a physician, as well as for professional advancement.

During the program, the intern will be advised by the hospital's professionals, who will help them define the research question, design the structure of the study on a realistic scale and implement the research, write the article and submit it for publication. In other words, guidance from the beginning of the process through publication of the article, including tools, data sources and a platform for presenting the research during a study day.

This is a unique opportunity for hands-on experience, to publish and for the intern to advance in the medical research world.

What's required?

  1. Investment of time, thought and work while the research is being conducted, designed and written.
  2. Submission of application for the program (the dates are published every year).
