Dr. Asil Mahamid

Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Second-year resident in orthopedic surgery. One of the founders of “Where’s Defi?” – a project to map out defibrillators in Israel. In the past, he held several positions in the medtech industry. Currently responsible for the Orthopedics Division’s Research Unit. Strives to promote big-data- and AI-based clinical research, innovation and medical entrepreneurship. Married to Marach. In his free time, Asil is a classical violinist and loves cooking.
