Over the course of the day, participants learned about the extensive activity in the administrative and housekeeping fields through 30 posters presented in the area next to the entrance to the conference hall that summarized unique projects by the various departments. The posters presented the work done behind the scenes, and highlighted the innovations, improvement processes, streamlining, financial savings and more.
Later in the day, there were several TED-style talks, including managing communication crises in medicine, lowering costs of endoscope disinfection, improving transportation processes, leveraging analytical abilities for security, implementing an innovative robot to onboard new employees, predatory journals and developing business intelligence.
The conference was closed with a guest lecture by Lt. Col. (Res) Yaniv Fogel, Administrative Director of Wolfson Medical Center, who spoke about hostage rescue missions over the years.
