Hillel Yaffe Medical Center held a professional conference this week, organized by the Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science Department, with approximately 100 professionals from the community, HMOs and other hospitals participating.
The conference focused on updates, trends and innovative gynecology and fertility technologies, featuring lectures across the department's entire spectrum of work - from innovative technologies and treatments in gyneco-oncological and pelvic floor surgeries, obstetric ultrasound diagnostics and imaging of tumors and pathologies, fertility preservation, supporting women through stillbirth, technologies in gestational diabetes treatment and presenting the work of Helena – The Center for Treatment of Male and Female Victims of Sexual Assault.

The conference concluded with an expert panel including representatives from Clalit, Maccabi, Mehuhedet, and Leumit, who discussed current community treatments for women in remote gynecological medicine.
Division Director Professor Ilan Bruchim emphasized the importance of collaboration between the community and the hospital, "This professional meeting allows us to connect all the dots, share knowledge and improve medical care for women in the region. The close collaboration between the community and the medical center is the key to more comprehensive and higher quality medicine."
