Mercado Eyal, Dr.

Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at Ben-Gurion University in Beer Sheva. Performed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Soroka University Medical Center in Beer Sheva. 

Specialization at the National Center for Hip Joint Problems in Austria. 

In 2005, he completed his residency in orthopedics and in 2006/2007, he did a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, Canada, where he specialized in congenital problems of the foot such as club feet, and the pelvis such as DDH, limb lengthening, spinal deformity correction, including scoliosis surgery, diagnosis and treatment of bone tumors and more. 

Upon returning to Israel, he served as the specialist in charge of limb and spinal deformity correction in the Pediatric Orthopedics Unit at Schneider Children's Medical Center in Petach Tikva, where he performed hundreds of surgeries to correct leg and foot deformities, limb lengthening and correction of spinal deformities. 

Dr. Mercado is a member of leading orthopedics and pediatric orthopedics organizations in Israel and worldwide, and is a partner in clinical, academic and research activity in the field of orthopedics.
