At the festive ceremony held this week, the new and upgraded facility of the Academic School of Nursing at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center was officially inaugurated. The ceremony was attended by Minister of Health MK Uriel Buso, senior health care officials, the medical center's management headed by Prof. Miki Dudkiewicz, Mayor of Hadera Mr. Nir Ben Haim, mayors and municipal leaders from Or Akiva, Umm al-Fahm, Pardes Hanna, Basma, and others, as well as the faculty of the Nursing School, hospital staff and students.
Headed by Prof. Merav Ben Natan, the Academic School of Nursing is a leading educational institution in nursing education in Israel and is highly regarded by the Ministry of Health for its outstanding achievements.

“The new facility represents an innovative approach - an advanced learning environment, featuring modern classrooms and study spaces tailored to professional training needs,” said Prof. Merav Ben Natan. “A suitable learning space is not a luxury – it is a necessity. This new space provides the infrastructure required for training the next generation of the health care system. We are committed to working tirelessly to continue the upgrades, based on our understanding that investing in nursing education today is an investment in all of our future health.”
Minister of Health Uriel Buso stated, “This is an exceptionally important day for the school. Its students represent the next generation of compassion, humanity and professionalism. Nursing is a profession whose members are at the forefront – in the most challenging moments – and their contribution is irreplaceable.”
During the ceremony, a mezuzah was affixed, and the ribbon was cut, marking the official opening of the new facility.
