Many women experience psychological issues throughout their lives, be they before pregnancy, during pregnancy or following childbirth. Recognizing the importance of this issue and the unique challenges women face, Hillel Yaffe Medical Center has established a specialized team of psychologists and clinical social workers who provide professional, sensitive and personalized support, creating a safe and empowering space for women, where they are truly accepted.

We believe that with proper treatment, you can cope with the pain, fears and complexity, and grow from this challenging period toward a sense of inner well-being and renewed strength,” said Inbar Fried Zaig, Clinical and Research Psychologist, Director of the Li-Bi team.

"We treat a variety of areas, from deliberations about whether women want to become pregnant and entering parenthood, through support and psychological treatment during pregnancy, and if distress arises after childbirth - processing the birth experience, accompanying women going through fertility treatments, providing emotional support after pregnancy loss, and appropriate psychiatric assistance."

"A woman experiencing any emotional difficulty that makes things difficult for her or causes anxiety or avoidance should seek treatment. Providing specialized tools individually tailored to each patient enables them to overcome the difficulty and move forward while allowing each woman to fulfill her unique goals, allowing them to improve their quality of life," said Fried Zaig.

You need a referral from your family physician to obtain a payment authorization form (Form 17) from your HMO for a psychological treatment diagnostic session. After receiving the payment authorization, at the top of the form write - For the Li-Bi Team, and e-mail it to us: psycho@hymc.gov.il Or by fax: 04-7744988 and we will contact you to schedule an appointment.
