On Friday, March 28, 2025, during the Pregnancy and Childbirth Conference held at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, the new smart delivery rooms expected to open in the coming months were revealed. The new rooms include innovative equipment and some of the latest multimedia systems in Israel, allowing each woman in labor to choose the atmosphere in which she wants to give birth to her baby.
Dr. Haim David, Director of the Maternity Department and Delivery Rooms, said, "The professional staff of the department remains the same, with a clear principle: putting the woman in labor at the center and involving her in the childbirth process, so that she can be as much of a partner as possible. The main change relates to the hotel-like conditions, which will soon be among the best in the country and provide a pleasant birthing environment alongside personalized care."
During the conference, participants enjoyed an area offering a pregnancy photo shoot, various information booths and an opportunity to meet and get to know the medical and nursing staff.
