The Imaging Institute at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center recently acquired a new, powerful and fast CT scanner, the SOMATOM X.cite from Siemens, one of the most advanced on the market today. The SOMATOM X.cite is a powerful and fast device equipped with cutting-edge technologies that also accommodates obese patients (up to 300 kg), thanks to the machine's wide bore and special table capable of supporting significant weight.

The machine leverages innovative technologies that enable examinations with lower radiation doses, a built-in AI system for detecting brain hemorrhages, and an integrated laser system for performing invasive procedures with precision marking of the needle entry point and insertion angle.
