The meeting was also attended by Deputy Municipality Director Hanan Edri, City Engineer Erez Tal, and other senior municipality officials. Prof. Mickey Dudkiewicz, Director General of the medical center and Administrative Director Rafi Koren, presented the hospital's development, renewal and innovations, and the main challenges facing the hospital, including completion of the ER Building, protected inpatient rooms and emergency room, opening of the only PET-CT institute between Haifa and Tel Aviv, new delivery rooms, a new Ophthalmology Institute, the Women's Health Center, and more. They further noted that the hospital is the largest employer in the region, with many of its employees being Hadera residents.

Himberg noted that the municipality's cooperation with the hospital in recent years has been excellent, and that it is important to continue nurturing it. "Hadera is expected to double in size over the next ten years and become a metropolitan city for the entire region. Good health care services are integral to the quality of life of the city's current and future residents."
At the end of the meeting, the attendees went on a tour of the hospital, including the delivery rooms scheduled to open soon, the Ophthalmology Institute, and the Women's Health Center. Everyone was highly impressed with the scope and quality of services provided at Hillel Yaffe, and for its importance as a key hospital that provides Hadera residents with health care services close to home.
