In September, we will mark World Heart Month. As part of this initiative, Hillel Yaffe Medical Center’s team of cardiology specialists will be conducting a series of lectures in communities surrounding the hospital – Hadera, Pardes Hanna-Karkur, Binyamina, Zichron Yaakov, Basma, Umm al-Fahm, Baqa al-Gharbiyye, Emek Hefer and more. An online lecture will also be offered and open to anyone who cannot attend at any of the specified locations. This year, the focus will be on innovations and technologies in the field of cardiac disease.
Professor Ariel Roguin, Director of the Cardiology Division, stated, "Heart attacks and cardiovascular problems require urgent attention and prompt treatment. We are here for our patients 24/7. In our community lectures, we provide important and reassuring information and also provide people with an opportunity to ask questions. These meetings allow people to get to know us, the medical team, from up close. My team and I believe it is very important to update the residents of our region so that when the time comes, if needed, they will know that we have all the expertise, equipment and knowledge here to provide optimal care."
