Hillel Yaffe Medical Center continues to develop and innovate – including in the human resources sector, with a series of new appointments and promotions. Hillel Yaffe Medical Center is one of the largest employers in Hadera and the region. In recent years, alongside significant population growth in the area, the hospital has been preparing and adapting to meet the needs of patients and their families by expanding existing medical services and adding new ones, a process that requires the addition of positions and investment in human capital.

 

The following individuals have recently been appointed to senior positions through official tenders: Dr. Eyal Behrbalk, Director of the Orthopedics Division, a specialist in back and spinal orthopedics, who previously served as Director of Orthopedics Department A; Dr. Veacheslav Zilbermints, who until recently was Director of the Laparoscopic Surgery Unit and has now been appointed as Director of Surgery A Department, an appointment that completed a round of changes in the Surgery Division under the leadership of Prof. Boris Kessel.

 

Additional appointments: Dr. Idan Amshalom, a specialist in psychiatry, who has taken over management of the Mental Health Services, after serving as Director of the Psychiatry Unit in recent years; Dr. Jamil Mohsen, a senior physician in the Cardiology Division, who was appointed Director of the Day Hospitalization Unit and Congestive Heart Failure Service. He also who served as Director of the COVID-19 Department during the pandemic, and Dr. Semyon Chulsky, a radiologist who recently joined Hillel Yaffe from Rambam Medical Center, was appointed to head the MRI Unit. He replaces Dr. Roni Shreter, was appointed through a tender as Hillel Yaffe's Imaging Institute Director.

 

Significant moves and appointments were also made in the Nursing Administration, including: The appointment of Katia Shleonsky as Clinical Supervisor in the Nursing Administration; Bella Hiyaev, who was appointed Head Nurse of the Neonatal Unit following the retirement of Yaffa Fahima, who in recent years led nursing at the hospital; and Mahmoud Abu Khalaf, a nurse in the Neurology Department, who was appointed to serve as Clinical Specialist in Neurology – a new position at the national level.
