A Toast to the New Year

As they do every year, Hillel Yaffe employees gathered to raise a toast to the New Year. Rabbi Ben Zion Nordman, Friends of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center Chairman, Mr. Moshe Morag, and Hadera District Histadrut Chairman Mr. Itzik Yitzhaki were on hand for the event. The medical center staff gathered for the annual ceremony ahead of Rosh Hashanah - raising a toast and blessings for the New Year. Hillel Yaffe's Administrative Director, Rafi Koren, opened the event by referring to the achievements of the past year, which are numerous, including completion of construction of the new Women’s Center that opened, new delivery rooms that opened, the Eye Institute, the Oncology-Hematology Center and more.

Prof. Mickey Dudkiewicz, Director General of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, spoke about the great pride he takes in how well the medical center and its employees have functioned in every situation and at all times.

All attendees expressed their desire for life to get back to normal and called for the safe and swift return of the hostages.
