Recipients of the teaching excellence awards from Hillel Yaffe Medical Center
The awards and certificates of appreciation were given by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Ami Aronheim and Vice Dean Prof. Amir Karban, together with the Director General of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, Prof. Mickey Dudkiewicz and Chairperson of the Technion Medical Students Committee, Victoria Hermann.
In his opening remarks, Prof. Aronheim praised the consistent lineup of outstanding performers each year, noting that teaching scores were above average, as well as an increase in the number of publications, which is also noteworthy.
Hillel Yaffe Medical Center Director Prof. Mickey Dudkiewicz joined the remarks, noting that the number of outstanding performers increases every year, and the fact that this was achieved during two years of war, with lecturers absent due to military reserve duty and amid general operational complexity, is impressive and a source of pride. He further emphasized the obligation hospitals have to maintain teaching and research as an integral part of the required clinical activity.
