The meeting was attended by heads of local authorities and their representatives from Or Akiva, Harish, Umm al-Fahm, Zichron Yaakov, Baqa al-Gharbiyye, Binyamina-Giv'at Ada, Menashe Regional Council, Basma, Kafr Qara, Alona Regional Council, Elyakhin, Zemer and more.
Among the topics presented by Medical Center Director Prof. Mickey Dudkiewicz were the hospital's emergency preparedness, the opening of the Women's Health Center, the new delivery rooms, the new Hematology-Oncology Institute, the new Eye Institute, as well as an update on the construction of the missile protected Emergency Medicine Department Building and the missile-protected inpatient and operating rooms as well as the PET-CT Institute.

Participants were also updated on new advanced services, community health promotion activities, innovation, research, academic initiatives and more.
During the meeting, the hospital's challenges and complexities were presented regarding the HMOs' selection arrangements, budgetary issues and core topics for joint discussion.
Participants expressed appreciation for the work, development and progress at the hospital and a desire to be involved in everything required to advance the hospital's development and to promote health in general. At the conclusion of the meeting, participants toured the new and future construction areas.
