Hillel Yaffe Medical Center marked Tu B'Shvat with its traditional tree planting ceremony, with young saplings planted near the entrance to the current Emergency Department, with progress on the new fortified Emergency Department Building currently under construction clearly in view.
In his remarks, Medical Center Director Prof. Mickey Dudkiewicz noted that the tree planting symbolizes the hospital's momentum of development and progress. He continued to say that this momentum is also reflected in the construction of the future fortified Emergency Department Building, which will include inpatient units and protected emergency rooms, as part of the long-term investment in improving services and care for patients and the community.
