The award ceremony was attended by senior Na'amat officials, including Na'amat Chair Hagit Pe'er, Director of Na'amat's Legal Counseling and Legislation Department Gali Etzion, and Director of the Gender Equity Seal Program Orna Golan, who presented Hillel Yaffe's outstanding evaluation results.

The process of obtaining this important seal was led and coordinated by Prof. Merav Ben Natan, Hillel Yaffe's Gender Equality Officer, as part of her longstanding efforts to advance women, promote gender equality, and prevent violence. The initiative was carried out in collaboration with Administrative Director Rafi Koren and his deputy, Adv. Lihi Ron, who played key roles in leading and advancing the process, with the support of additional personnel throughout the medical center.

The ceremony, held as part of Hillel Yaffe's gender equality events, was also attended by Director General Prof. Mickey Dudkiewicz, Chief Nursing Officer Dina Fainblat, Na'amat Hadera Region Chair Adv. Hadar Mesika-Sabag, and Chen Korkos, Chair of Hillel Yaffe's Administration and Housekeeping Workers' Committee, who also delivered remarks on behalf of the employees' committees, which partnered in organizing the event.

During the ceremony, Orna Golan presented the findings of the evaluation report on which the certification was based. Among the report's key findings were that women make up 67% of the medical center's workforce, women make up 50% of the senior executive team, and women have a clear majority within the extended management team, as well as among managers throughout Hillel Yaffe. In addition, the medical center received a score of 17.6 out of 20 for equitable compensation and 16.8 out of 20 for balance between work, family, and leisure.

Prof. Mickey Dudkiewicz, Director General of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, expressed his pride in the achievement: "Our responsibility as a leadership team is to transform equality from a message into policy, and from policy into everyday practice across every aspect of the organization. Receiving this seal is evidence that we are putting this vision into practice. We see gender equality as a cornerstone of our organizational excellence."

The certification reflects what we have already achieved, but it also represents our commitment to continue fostering an equitable, respectful workplace that enables every employee to grow and lead."

Na'amat Chair Hagit Pe'er praised the organization, saying: "Hillel Yaffe Medical Center demonstrates a genuine openness and willingness to listen. It is an organization that understands equality is not merely a slogan, but a responsibility.”

The event concluded with an inspiring lecture by Sapir Berman, Israel's first transgender soccer referee, who shared her personal and professional journey and moved the audience with her inspiring story.
