First time in surgical gown

This week, about 40 students payed their first visit to the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center as part of the "Exposure Course". During this mandatory course medical students, starting from year one throughout year three, come once every two weeks to the hospital in order to be exposed to the system, processes and special cases.

The students' instruction team consists of five supervisors, deputy director of the hospital Dr. Ohad Hochman, director of the gastro-institute Assistant-Prof. Yael Kopelman, director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Prof. Simcha Maisel, director of the Department of Obstetrics and Neonatology Dr. Michael Feldman and deputy director of the Department of Neurology Dr. Sergio Shabtai.

As is well known, the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center is a teaching hospital affiliated with the Technion Faculty of Medicine. The hospital serves as a study field for students during all years of their study, especially throughout the Clinic years (4^th to 6^th years) in various departments. In addition, the hospital's doctors serve as lecturers at the Technion on a wide range of medical subjects.
