In a letter announcing his appointment that Dr. Dudkiewicz sent to hospital employees, he wrote that he made his decision to manage Hillel Yaffe based on his familiarity with the hospital ("the field"), thanks to the people who do the work every single hour, day after day, the dedicated and quality employees in the full range of professions and positions.

He further noted that it is clear to him that the development of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center is primarily dependent on the employees and administration, because the humanity and professionalism of each and every one is what will drive the hospital forward. "Technology and building are also very important, but human resources is what improves over time, and what sets out the course for us to move forward," he wrote.

Dr. Dudkiewicz summed up his first day officially on the job by saying, "This is not the work and vision of a single person, but the joint work of all of us together, in all positions, professions and specializations. Together we will drive our hospital forward towards a better future for our patients and staff."
