From inspiration to donation

Artist Moshe Gordon donated a picture from his collection to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center out of his desire to contribute to an institution that works on behalf of the community
17/07/2016

The picture, titled Yearning, was hung at the entrance to the delivery rooms at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center. The artwork was donated after the artist contacted the hospital out of a desire to contribute a piece of his art to an organization that works on behalf of the community and for the welfare of the public. Hillel Yaffe Medical Center met this requirement, but was also a donation made "close to home."

Moshe Gordon is an artist who lives in Hadera, where he has worked in recent years. Over the years, his work has been shown in solo exhibitions in Italy and Israel. The piece, made entirely of paper and natural materials, took him about two months to complete.

Hillel Yaffe was delighted with the donation of the artwork, which is worth tens of thousands of shekels. It is currently colorfully and beautifully hanging where many can enjoy it - patients, staff members and visitors alike.
