Last week Hillel Yaffe Medical Center's futsal team won yet another trophy, this time in the Sportiada, Israel's largest and most important popular sporting event. It is the most significant event in the season of the Workplace League, which plays all year long.
The Hillel Yaffe futsal team has long been a force to be reckoned with. Its achievements include: six time champion of the Workplace League - central region, four trophies for finishing in top spots in the national league (second and third place), four trophies for trophy holders, four players who over the years have won outstanding player, and more. The team has participated in the Sportiada numerous times and has always taken one of the top three spots. This year, however, is the first time the team has come in first place, making its trophy case even more crowded.

Team captain, Avi Koch, who is also "captain" of the hospital's technical service, said, "This is definitely a great achievement. We are very proud of the team and players, and we thank our administration for their significant support, which is not something that can be taken for granted."
Dr. Amnon Ben Moshe, Administrative Director, said, "I'm delighted with the futsal team’s impressive achievements in recent years. It's important for us to provide our employees with the conditions and possibility to excel in their work and in other fields as well."
