The wonderful initiative that brought some light to the young patients included building a special moving wagon, shaped like a spaceship, that held all of the games and toys so that it would be easy to move from room to room and distribute them. The children from Morasha School worked hard to build it.
Among the children who enjoyed the games was four-year-old Yuval Pinchas, who was injured in a car accident last week along with her mother and baby sister, and was hospitalized in Pediatric Surgery. Yuval's mother, Osnat, who remains hospitalized in the Orthopedics Department, said that the initiative is outstanding and that despite the trauma her daughter experienced, her hospital experience, both in terms of the care from the medical staff and the warmth and love she received from all of the visitors and volunteers in the Pediatrics Department made her feel loved and calm.
