This week, the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center employees began to get vaccinated against the flu virus, in parallel to the third vaccine – the booster – against the coronavirus. The members of the hospital administration also all came to receive the flu vaccine, after having had the booster shot when the third coronavirus vaccines begun to be administered, over two months ago.
Director of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, Dr. Mickey Dudkiewicz: “Every year, we get vaccinated against the flu virus since we understand that this is the way to protect the patients, and we are doing the same this year. At the same time, we have also enabled the employees to receive the third vaccine against coronavirus together with the flu vaccine, since it will help all of us maintain our good health as staff, and the health of the patients, who are dependent on us. Prevention of coronavirus and flu will reduce the pressure on the health system and enable it to treat other illnesses which occur regularly, with devotion and professionalism.”
