Update regarding the cyber attack

The hospital staff, who are used to emergency situations, have fully and impressively harnessed themselves, with the medical response to all those hospitalized and arriving at the hospital being at the highest standards of care with treatment continuing, despite the clear difficulties, the challenges, and the complexity of the situation.

Director of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, Dr. Mickey Dudkiewicz: ”Our staff are used to mass-casualty incidents, they coped with and are still coping with coronavirus, but this is an incident on a different plane, on a national level, without a medical base. We passed not a few quality control checks regarding information protection in recent years, and we always met them with great success and even with excellence and praises. The patients and their welfare are our chief priority, and we will do everything we can to provide the best possible service. We hope that some of our capabilities will be gradually restored at the beginning of next week, but changes are possible in accordance with the rate of progress of the professional staff who are involved, and subject to various constraints.”
