Meir Alona, Dr.

Pathology Institute Director

Dr. Meir earned her medical degree from Makhachkala University in Russia, and in 1996, specialized in pathology at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, while completing her residency at Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv.
Since 2022, Dr. Meir has been a specialist physician at the Pathology Institute, and in 2018 was named Deputy Director of the Institute, a position in which she was highly successful and respected.
In October 2025, she was appointed to the position of Pathology Institute Director.
Dr. Meir has extensive clinical and management experience and was deeply involved in leading many initiatives during the Institute’s years of growth.
