L., a Border Police fighter, who charged at the terrorist during the terrorist attack in Hadera, was hospitalized in Hillel Yaffe’s Orthopedics Department in mild condition. On the second day of his hospitalization, he felt stinging in his eye, and a medical examination showed he had been wounded by a piece of shrapnel. He was operated on by Dr. Ori Scheyer, a senior physician in the Ophthalmology Department, and the shrapnel which was deeply embedded in his cornea was removed
