During surgery, the surgeons of the Urogynecology Unit formed a vagina from tissue from the peritoneum – which is part of the abdominal lining – without any need for cutting the colon or using skin grafts, as was once required

The first day of preschool: A fifteen-month old baby choked on an apple

On the first day back at preschool a toddler from the Hadera area was brought to the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Unit after she choked on an apple which she had eaten in daycare. A doctor from the ENT – Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery Unit extracted the apple from the end of her pharynx
