The staff of the Medical Engineering Department at the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center has found an original and simple solution to the problem of ventilators. The idea was raised and examined last Thursday and is currently considered a default solution

The area is situated in an area separate from the Emergency Room and inpatient departments, and will treat only women needing gynecological care or delivering babies who may suffer from coronavirus. A dedicated staff from the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department will work under the supervision of Prof. Motti Hallak, Department Director, and Clinical Supervisor, Ms. Orly Basis.

At the end of the week, a whole new dedicated department was opened at Hillel Yaffe, established with great efforts within a few days, designed for patients with coronavirus
