The Biochemistry Laboratory incorporates the Nephrology (Endocrinology) Laboratory, the Emergency Laboratory and the Chemical Laboratory. The laboratory participates in international external quality-assessment programs - the laboratory uses a Roche-Modular analyzer to conduct most of its tests. The laboratory also has Cobas Integra and Urotron analyzers, as well as a Hydrasys machine for conducting electrophoresis.
