The clinic is managed by a physician who is a specialist in cardiology and arrhythmias. It serves members of all HMOs.
The clinic provides guidance, investigation and follow-up for people referred for investigation of arrhythmias by family physicians, cardiology specialists in the community or by hospital departments following discharge from the hospital.
Hillel Yaffe Medical Center treats all forms of arrhythmia: irregular premature heartbeats, atrial (including atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter) and ventricular arrhythmias. Treatment for arrhythmias can be through medication, require implantation of a pacemaker or implanted difibrillator or an invasive procedure in which ablation is performed to repair and prevent the development of arrhythmias.
The Arrhythmia Clinic provides treatment and follow-up of arrhythmias, including investigation before an invasive procedure and treatment following it.
