Hillel Yaffe Medical Center is a government hospital that is a regional trauma center. It serves a large and diverse population of approximately 600,000 residents that represent all aspects of Israeli demographics: children and adults, seniors and new immigrants, Jews and Arabs. Everybody benefits from advanced medical services, free of bias and prejudice.
By 2025, the population of the region is expected to grow by 25% and the public health budget, which is what the medical center relies on, limits its ability to meet the many challenges it faces, making fundraising essential to make both large and small projects a reality.
Friends of Hillel Yaffe was established to help the hospital stride towards the challenges of the future. The association is driven by volunteers who are deeply committed to the success of the medical center. Guided by its members of its Executive Committee of accomplished individuals in business, management and education, all are dedicated to giving back and volunteering.
Our mission is to help the hospital continue to improve the quality of medical care it provides, upgrade its facilities, lead in medical and technological innovation as well as attract and retain quality personnel, and support community cooperation and involvement to promote the health and welfare of residents throughout the region.
